Privacy Policy

ViceSnaps (“the app”) is a community app for sharing game screenshots, run by lroestudios (“we”). You can contact us at vicesnaps@lroestudios.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (handled by Google Firebase Authentication), or your Apple sign-in details if you use Sign in with Apple. In that case we receive your email address or Apple’s private relay address, never your Apple password.
- Profile: your username, and optionally a profile picture, a short bio, your gaming handle and your main gaming platform.
- Content you post: screenshots, locations, captions and categories, comments, and the likes and saves you make.
- Safety data: the list of people you block, and reports you send us about content.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts or browsing history. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How we use it
To run the app: sign you in, show your posts and profile to other users, rank the Popular Artists leaderboard, keep your saves and blocks private to you, and review reports to keep the community safe. We do not sell your data.
Who can see it
Your username, profile picture, bio, gaming handle, platform, posts, comments and likes are visible to other signed-in users. Your email address, saved snaps and block list are private.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes it on our behalf and may store it in data centres outside your country.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account › Settings. This permanently deletes your profile, snaps, comments, likes, saves and blocks. Reports you filed about other people may be kept so we can act on them.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will remove the account.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
